Serving High Point's Design Trade

High Point Design Center brings together interior designers, showrooms, and trade professionals connected to the High Point Showroom Association (HPSA). The site has long served as a place to register for seminars, keep up with showroom sales, and connect with the community around High Point's design industry.

Past programming has included the "Second Wednesday" monthly meetups, Designer Appreciation Day, and educational sessions covering topics from branding to the business side of interior design.

Notable past sessions include a Designer Appreciation Day Lunch featuring Bob Timberlake on September 14, 2011, and the multi-day "Unity in Design" event held February 29–March 2, 2012, co-sponsored by DPNC, AIDP, ASID Carolinas, HPDC, IDS, IIDA Carolinas Chapter, and NKBA. In 2016, sessions covered branding and marketing with Jason Newman, positive psychology with Jessica Glazer, and a seminar on the business of interior design.

Visit the Members directory or the About page to learn more about participating showrooms and the organization behind them.

High Point Design Center serves as the year-round hub for interior designers, architects, specifiers, and builders seeking luxury home furnishings. Unlike seasonal markets that come and go, the center offers consistent access to an extensive collection of showrooms representing the finest in residential and contract design. Professionals can explore curated displays, discover new lines, and source pieces that elevate any project, all within a concentrated destination that understands the demands of the design trade.

The member showrooms at High Point Design Center represent a broad spectrum of styles, from timeless traditional to forward-thinking contemporary. Each showroom is carefully maintained to inspire and inform, giving trade professionals the opportunity to see finishes, textiles, and craftsmanship up close. This hands-on environment allows designers to make confident selections for their clients, knowing they have experienced the quality and character of every piece before specifying it for a project.

Community lies at the heart of the High Point Design Center experience. Through the High Point Showroom Association, the center fosters meaningful connections among design professionals who share a passion for exceptional interiors. Regular networking events create space for relationship-building, idea exchange, and collaboration. These gatherings strengthen the local design ecosystem and ensure that professionals working in and around High Point remain connected to one another throughout the year.

Educational programming has long been a cornerstone of the center's mission. Seminars and learning sessions bring industry experts together with design professionals to explore emerging trends, business strategies, and the evolving landscape of interior design. These events offer valuable continuing education opportunities while also providing a forum for thoughtful discussion about the challenges and opportunities facing today's design trade.

The showroom sales and special events calendar keeps the design community engaged with fresh reasons to visit throughout the year. Seasonal promotions, product launches, and exclusive trade events give professionals early access to new collections and special opportunities. By maintaining an active schedule of happenings, the center ensures that there is always something new to discover, making each visit a productive and inspiring experience.

Designer networking remains a central focus of the High Point Design Center experience. The center understands that professional relationships are as valuable as the products on display. Whether through structured meetups or casual encounters in the showrooms, designers have countless opportunities to connect with peers, mentors, and potential collaborators. This culture of openness and mutual support distinguishes the center as more than a marketplace.

The High Point Design Center website extends this resource to the digital space, offering a convenient way to stay informed about upcoming events, explore member showrooms, and register for seminars. Designed with the same clean, functional sensibility that defines the center itself, the site provides trade professionals with a streamlined portal to everything the design community has to offer, accessible anytime and from anywhere.
